The trick in becoming a socio-economic terrorist in the once great nation of the United States is to never get smart - try hard to moderate your intelligence. You could from a young age purposely do drugs, smoke cigarettes, or drink alcohol, stay away from mentally challenging activities and mindlessly fulfilling the requirements by accepting without any qualm as to any applicability to the actual work to be performed.
Around 1970 government employees earned about 10-20% less than those in the private sector and this made sense since they have almost non-existent accountability, they get far more sick time, vacation time, and holiday days off than those in the private sector. Today government employees make about 50-100% more than those in the private sector thereby exacerbating our enormous debt problems. Not only do the salaries cause our states and federal government to be deeply in debt but the outrageous compensation of pensions contributes in some instances more harm than the salaries while "working". With $7 trillion states' debt and $19 trillion federal debt, to be part of the sector hurting this country is near treason.
Understandably one may want to be a lottery winner in obtaining a government job, knowing they can have fun with their ego manifestations of being snotty to the public, being bossy, making the public needlessly wait, and while taking long breaks in the restroom, playing computer games at their desk, being in pow-wows with their coworkers, going home for 2 hour lunches, or otherwise hide out and sleep in a government vehicle. However, if you have some sense of fairness, love for this country, and a desire to actually perform well for the country's best interest, you would only seek government employment for a short duration such as if you have been overlooked in employment and need a jolt to your wealth. In not being selfish in continuing getting a huge salary in government employment, you really ought to allow others the chance of getting the bounty for hardly lifting a finger.
Anyway, in obtaining that big fat pay, besides doing the basic stuff as outlined in the first paragraph, it's a big plus to get friendly with the human resources. In this way, you can get your unfair advantage over far more qualified applicants. Even those tested at #1 will be turned down to get a worker whom they feel a shared interest in working against the betterment of this country. It really helps to have a family member in government but you cannot always help this one. You could date a person in government and this would help greatly as well. Just make certain you appear to be sub-average in intelligence if by chance you happen to be smart.

Part-time fill-in for the State of Washington Department of Land Management. I wrecked 4 different vehicles which hurt the taxpayers. I could have stayed on and wrecked more vehicles but the last two received too much media attention. I was let go but it did not stop my enthusiasm for wanting to be on the opposite side of American patriotism.

Worked under my local state representative for free in order to show how much I want to get a government job. Duties included mostly making coffee and being under the state representative. The state representative's wife had me fired.
